Come let's feel some love for the White Sox - It has been 46 years since Chicago has seen a World Series!!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:
Go White Sox! I went to the last game at old Comiskey Park, and the first game at new Comiskey (now US Cellular Field) and always thought they had a better chance than the Cubs of making it back to the World Series. Mainly because they were owned by a gentleman, not a corporation. Hooray for Jerry Reinsdorf, an owner who loves the White Sox and the city of Chicago. (We finally forgive you for trying to move the Sox to Tampa).

What's really great is to see all the former Sox players who are now involved- Tim Raines, Harold Baines, Joey Cora, Greg Walker, Art Kusnyer, plus the Manager Ozzie Guillen, and the GM Kenny Williams.

I was rooting for them yesterday...it was great to see them win! Looks like your White Sox will more than likely be playing the Houston Astros, since it doesn't appear to be in the "cards" for our Cardinals. After last night's game in Houston, I have no faith in the umps. But a series between the White Sox and the Astros will be exciting, since the White Sox haven't been in a series since 1959 and the Astros have never been in a World Series!

:nono1: No negative statements yet!!! It's not over 'til it's over!!

:bang: Umps were bad! But now the Cards are p*ssed. And they haven't had a four game losing streak all year!!! Not to mention, we hit this pitcher really well. Have faith sister! :clap_1:

Thank you OMB - Kdwells,Sueshore & LTB- I am now feeling the love.  The company I work for (for the last million years) was one of the subcontractors on the Cell. We did a lot of work out there - including installing the fence in the outfield. I really was the first one to hit one over the fence. When my guys were working out there - I went out to the jobsite with a bat and ball and hit one over - of course I was standing about 10 feet from the fence. :funn: :funn:

I too love the fact that a lot of Old time White Sox are involved. My father was a huge White Sox fan so I grew up watching the games with him. It is amazing how much I am thinking of him during this run even though he has been gone 7 years. I am sure he is cheering up in heaven.

It feels like destiny now - when you start getting the calls ;-) the pitching and the hits.

Go White Sox! I'm not a fan of the Cubs or Sox, or baseball but I am very happy for Chicago and the White Sox! It's pretty exciting.
Glad the Sox are doing so well and you have such nice memories of you and your dad watching their games!! I'll think of you as they win each one!!

Thanks for slapping me back to the land of the Cardinal faithful ktchris! :floor: You're right....our birds have gotten out of tighter nooses then this. I was just temporarily taken back to the I-70 World Series between STL and Kansas City when the ump Denkenger's (spelling) bad call ended up costing us the win. I could barely stand to watch the game yesterday...it seemed so unfair. But you're right...I'm sure the cards are p*ssed, and even more determined to win. Only a couple hours till gametime....go Cards!!! Bring it home! :clap_1:
