Just kidding, but I could be wrong about lots of stuff. What I'm not wrong about is that this is incredible. The Acorn Pimp has his nuts in a sling. He was arrested on felony charges and stands accused of trying to wiretap Sen. Mary Landrieu's office.

Karma, it works every time.

"As Buddhists, they know that the doing matters more than the attainment of reward, that to serve in this selfless way is to be free. Because of their belief in karma--the principle of cause and effect that permeates Buddhism and Hinduism (and Christianity, for that matter: as ye sow, so shall ye reap)--they are tolerate and unjudgmental, knowing that bad acts will receive their due without the intervention of the victim."...Peter Matthiessen, speaking of the Sherpas in The Snow Leopard

I simply attribute it to the cocky repeat offender theory.

On top of everything else, he was being mentored, coached, and egged on by conservatives. If that's not a recipe for disaster, what is?

Yep - a big backlash is coming!

And not just against Wall Street - while some want to claim that the recent election in Mass. was about Dems vs. Repubs. it is becoming more and more clear that it is REALLY about people fed up with politricks and big business/government.

yes, and I think the Canadian musician is on to something. I think we all need to start speaking up, in whatever way we are good at--to let the world know when a company, person, organization, etc., is not being accountable to the people who are paying for a service or product. As long as Americans put up with the status quo then we deserve what we get IMO

They do have brass gonads for trying to pull off this stunt. Seriously, who in their right mind would try to bug a Senator's phone? I don't know what they were thinking;all they would have heard for the next few weeks would be "Who Dat?! Who Dat?! Who Dat?!" anyway.

I had nothing to do with this one. Neither did kharma. But don't crucify these goofballs. They're only human.

Jesus,

I was going to use a photo of the BK King as my Facebook Doppelganger just as a joke. But as Lake View Too points out- you guys do seem to look alike (at least from your profile pic).

Do you FB? If so, I think we found you a doppelganger!

haha

Maybe I need to change my Sowal profile pic.

I have a personal FB account under an alias. This is a necessary evil because FB is so big now. If too many people saw I was on there they would all send me invites to join their causes or to become a fan. I really don't use it much though because no one I grew up with is on there.

You really gotta be careful with social networking and online forums. They could occupy your whole day!

Well...He certainly skirted the King of The Burgers vs. the King of the Jews issue, didn't He? I wonder if they are brothers...
