Nope, no motorized vehicles allowed on sidewalks or bike path. I think they have magnetic land mines strategically buried to deter such activities as well. 😉

Absolutely positively not allowed. If you don't get a ticket from a deputy, you will be screamed at (and worse) by any walker or biker on the bike path- because they are for walkers and bikers only.
Thanks for the info! I have seen it a few times but certainly dont want to do it on the basis of that!!! I

There are about a kajillion of those new tan signs that, besides telling you "Vehicle Crossing Ahead" (well, duh) and "Continue Breathing While Using Bike Path" (JK, but so many of these signs are a big duh), say "No Motorized Vehicles on Bike Path."

Oooh. I can speak from experience, the deputies will pull you over and write you a ticket.

I was pulled over one time with Brody driving down the road near my home. It was not pretty and I almost went to jail that night. It just seems to me there had to be something more important to do then pull me over. I made the mistake of asking him that. I don't know what's wrong with me. I hate all these rules.

The signs may be a big "duh" but people still can't follow them! :bang:

You just feel like you are living when you are flying down a path at 10mph with your hair flying and blue lights behind you.

I just don't get it when I see a scooter rocketing down the sidewalk/pathways that parallel 30A. Don't be a moron - Move it on to the road where it belongs! I know that this will never change the behavior of those who offend, but hopefully a stiff ticket will help change a few minds. I also like the idea of "land mines" {Thanks to "Douglas the Intrepid"}!

Golf carts on the bike paths......bikes in the road.......seems kinda bass-ackwards doesn't it?! No wonder bikers have to wear those funny little bike helmets to be safe! I guess the next thing will be crash helmets for the golf cart drivers who drive on bike paths. And God help the pedestrian that gets in the way!

I think LSV's are allowed on the paths. This way they'll be the fastest amongst their peers.
