Groundskeeper/Custodian at Peddlers Pavilion

This role is for Groundskeeper/Custodian at Peddlers Pavilion. The person is responsible for maintaining an aesthetically-pleasing and functional outdoor space and cleaning indoor facilities. Looking for someone to work 6 days a week during busy season (March-August). During the off season we are looking for someone to come 3 to 4 days. The hours are early morning to the afternoon but can be flexible on the exact time. Looking for someone to start ASAP!

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform cleaning duties in facility and outside to keep areas in clean and orderly condition

Perform outside cleaning chores, which include sweeping (leaf blowing) sidewalks and/or parking areas, picking up trash, taking the trash out, watering plants, and cleaning bathrooms

Makes repairs on small equipment if needed and

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance or communicate with supervisor

Planting flowers and shrubbery and watering the plants on regular schedule

May be required to help open the store or huts if deliveries are made

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior workers

Knowledge of general cleaning

Demonstrates pride in job

Ability to conduct and maintain a professional demeanor
