About Daniel Ramirez Fernandez:
Daniel is the export director of Fernandez de Piérola family estates, working in the most famous wine regions in Spain, Rioja, Ribera del Duero & Rueda. Born in La Rioja, Spain, since he was a child he has always been related to the world of wine, his first memories, when he was 3 years old, are in wineries with his father dipping a piece of bread in the glass of wine, doing his first tastings. After finishing his elementary school, he studied for 5 years for a degree in marketing at the University of Valladolid. After that, He was living in Dublin-Ireland where he studied for 2 years for an MBA (master in business administration). After finishing this master degree he returned to his hometown, Logroño, capital of La Rioja region, to study another master degree in viticulture and wine tasting at the university of la rioja. His first job was in a small family winery, Finca Allende, after years of experience, he started to work in one of the most famous wineries in Spain, Bodegas Fernandez de Pierola, where he currently works. He is a passionate wine lover, his dream is to visit all the countries of the world, he likes sports, especially soccer, and his perfect moment is always sharing a good glass of wine with his friends.
