on the beach in Barbados by a woman named Ernesta, beads and all. Be forewarned, it can take hours and you may need shears to get them out.

Thanks, but I found a place that will do it for less than $20!

Will you share? I'd like to get Jackie's hair done like that while it's long and beautiful (and so stinkin' hot out). Thanks!

Be careful it can cause bald spots due to hair trauma.

It's a little beauty shop on MLK Blvd over in PC. Quite the drive, but still cheaper than anything I've found around here.

I used to know all about getting them hooked up 'til I got old and started loosing the ability to even have a decent fro. I'm contemplating shaving it all off and buying a buffer for my dome.

I hope you upload a pic of the outcome - that'd be cool.

I'm catching up on my reading on the SoWal site today and I'm glad I did. There is lots of good humor here and I needed a few good laughs. Keep up the good work!!!
