Halloween Trivia

This is just crap I've found on the internet. I don't claim that it's true--just amusing.

Black cats were once believed to be witch's familiars who protected their powers.

Signs of a werewolf are a unibrow, hair palms, tattoos, and a long middle finger. (I'm pretty sure I've known a couple)

If you see a spider on Halloween, it is the spirit of a loved on watching over you.

More?

Jack o? Lanterns originated in Ireland where people placed candles in hollowed-out turnips to keep away spirits and ghosts on the Samhain holiday.

There are no words in the dictionary that rhyme with orange, the color of pumpkin.

Samhainophobia is an intense fear of Halloween

According to a Halloween superstition, if you want to see a witch, go out on that blind date with your sister's 'really nice' friend.
Oh sorry...that should read "Put your clothes on inside out and walk backwards"
