Guess who I saw on Sunday evening??? Gypsea and that Crazy Cap'n riding their bikes! They stopped under our balconey and we chatted! They had a very busy weekend with family and friends! I think they are getting younger and younger! Happy b-day you two!

The Cap'n has come out of retirement to acknowledge all the kind wishes from our SOWAL friends.

Yes, Gypsea and I were born on the same day. Remarkable!!! We dated for three months before we even figured it out. (Isn't that usually one of the first things people ask their new steadies?) Oh well, I guess we were just crazy in love!!!!

Now get ready for this.......It's also Cap'n Crazy's mother's birthday. The Cap'n married a woman with the same birthday as his Mom. "Funny/weird".

We decided long ago that it's not weird, but that it just proves that cold January nights produce lots of October babies!!!!!

Thanks again for the kind birthday wishes. I'll try to speak up more and not lurk as much.

We'll be in Sowal a lot between now and the New Year. Hope to see many of you soon!!! :roll: :roll: :roll:

If my computer had been on, I would have known about this big birthday day! And- baked y'all a SANDCASTLE birthday cake! Sounds like y'all had a nice day.

Kate's birthday is also Oct. 23rd- and she received her very own sandcastle cake from her grandmother.

We made one Sunday, and will probably make another today.
