Your mater plants should be fine because the temps are at 40F degrees.

We woke up to a little bit of sleet hitting the skylight, but it only lasted about 5-10 minutes. Here's hoping the cold snap eases up soon. My tangerine and grapefruit are blooming right now, and I'd like to get some fruit this year.

I just got up at 7:30am, I knew we'd have colder weather than usual for Easter Sunday, but here in Vernon, 35 miles north of Gulf of Mexico, I was not expecting to see SLEET! We made a pot of coffee, sat in front of the window and dared it to snow! Completely unexpected. Even in the winter we don't get sleet or flurries. Loved it!:clap_1:

Franny, I just got off the phone with my sister in Maine and she said it's colder there than it was Christmas week! And it's 32 degrees and overcast here. Definitely NOT the dancing Sunday we had two weeks ago at the Sea Bar. ;-)

We woke up to a covering a snow, not just the grass and deck, but the street too. It's all melted now, but cold, cold, cold! I took a bucket of pansies out of the garage and put on my deck.
It WILL be LOOK like Easter Sunday if I have my way.

My son in law reports 6" of snow at his parents in West Texas.... We got some pretty good flurries here yesterday, but nothing stuck.

The in-laws in Asheville got about 2 to 3 inches of snow yesterday. We just got bone chilling winds, but lots of blue skies and bright sunshine.

It was so cold here that I had to wear my orange fur jacket -- 46 degrees when we left for church. I hated having to wear a fur in April. ;-) Big D was attired in a dark blue suit and and an orange tie.
