Help! I Have a Disease!

Actually, my e-mail got infected with something while I was out! Sneaky! And as I mentioned elsewhere, the computer genius that I married is elsewhere right now.

When I opened my e-mail, about 8-10 messages had copied themselves, so my inbox had 97 new messages! It seems to have stopped there, but I don't know what to do. Obviously not share my disease with anyone, so I won't send any e-mail, and I guess tell everyone that I have had contact with that I may have unknowingly passed something on to them. Does anyone know what we have here?

I feel so dirty!

Those naughtly little emails! Girl, there was some hanky panky going on in your inbox while you were away! They multiplied...oh my. I would run my virus software quick and do not open any of the emails.....I am sure there are some other GENIUSES out there that can help though! Good luck, I hope you are cured soon!

It is the worst feeling. You do feel violated! I haven't had a virus that affected my emails but I have had one piggy back onto a program. Take KD's advice and run an up to date virus scan then I would probably delete the emails. You can take note of who sent them to you and if they're important email them back and request they send it again. Good luck!
