I'm not going with Curlin anymore. Read an article where his owners are the attorneys who represented the fenphen lawsuits. They kept most of the money for themselves. Bought Curlin for $57,000 as a yearling then sold him for $3.5 mil but still have part interest in him. They'll be in the winner's circle if he wins. Cowtown Cat is my bet now.:clap_1:

I did not know who won the race until some nice gal phoned her relatives in Memphis, and she did this while she was in the porta potty!
Good grief- that is talent! Anyway, she reported the winner to me, but since I have not really followed the ponies this Derby, I didn't care either way.And BR- didn't drinkmuch today- too long a day to drink a lot. But I did have a gigantic iced tea with lots of mint!!!

Ok gang there was a horse, it won. That's about all I know except my head still hurts. I missed (S)Oaks. It rained, and then it poured. But that's not why we missed it. My friend's dad passed and we were going together. I sat with her baby while they took care of the funeral stuff. So sad. He had been ill but they thought he had more time. Anyway not such a funn Derby for us. Did anyone win? I am off to see the prom pics of Miss Fyl, that should cheer me up.

I really do feel so bad for my friend though. She's having a rough time.
