We have a friend who hates meatloaf to this day because of how it was prepared when he was a kid--he said his mom used to make a meatloaf "boat"--hollowed out the middle of it and put applesauce in it...?! Has anyone else ever heard of this? :puke:

Hmm, a meat loaf boat. :floor: Meatloaf is one of our during the school year meals. Dylan the picky one likes it so I try to make it maybe once every two weeks. The meatloaf meal is always the same. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn and salad. That's the way my mom made it too. :D
