We've been living in Santa Rosa Beach for a little over a year and moved here from Destin. It is so peaceful and quiet here. Our daughter is at Emerald Coast Middle School and son is in preschool. I found this website, because we are looking for a piano teacher to give lessons for our daughter. If anyone knows of one nearby, please let us know! We look forward to getting to know more people in the area and this is a great way to keep up to date the great things South Walton has to offer!

Visiting This Weekend
My family will be visiting SoWal for the first time this weekend and will be staying in Santa Rosa Beach at the Gulf Place Cabanas. We are from Alabama and have always vacationed in OB and Gulf Shores, but decided to try something different for our Fall break this year. We have a 12 year old daughter and since she plays basketball and my husband coaches the varsity boys team, this is our last get-away before the seaon consumes our lives.
I have read up on the bike trail which I am excited to ride since we have a similar trail where we live in Jacksonville, Al and are familiar with how much fun it can be. We have rented our bikes already and are still in search of good restaurants. I have been on the food thread already and will visit that thread again since I am now registered.
We will be returning to your area next summer, where we are renting a place in Seagrove so this will be our four day induction into your wonderful area, and I am sure we will have a blast.
