Position Overview
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in daily operations—supporting the Store Manager, leading the team, and ensuring our standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience are consistently met. You’ll help drive a positive, energized culture while ensuring smooth, efficient store performance.Key Responsibilities
- Lead team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Foster a culture of hospitality, product knowledge, and enthusiastic sampling
- Train, coach, and supervise staff
- Oversee scheduling, task lists, and clock-ins
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness
- Manage inventory with proper FIFO procedures
- Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- Serve ice cream and candy with care and quality
- Handle register operations, cash handling, and deposits
- Communicate promotions, online ordering options, and product features
- Assist with candy production and waffle cone making
- Lead with urgency during rushes and peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in specialty food or retail, with leadership experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive, professional demeanor
- Love for sweets and guest service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
