So did any of you brave the hordes of shoppers on "Black Friday?" Any hearty souls out there who were at the starting gate at 6 am sharp? Anyone snag any good bargains? Mermaid pleads to sloth. I woke up at 9 am thinking "Oh man! Some people have been shopping for at least three hours now!" (and in my secret heart of coal I was also feeling "better them than me" ;-) ) I read in the paper today that the Monday after Thanksgiving is starting to be known as "Cyber Monday." Everyone who was trampled in the mall on Friday hits their computer on Monday to continue with online shopping. Supposedly there are all sorts of cyber bargains out there.
