Hotel and Tourism Industry - "Free Gas"?

Let's hope we don't see gas prices over $4/gallon this summer.

AAA predicts gas prices will be between $2.96 and $3.12 for February and March. Gas prices are 40 cents per gallon more than at the same time last year.

Maybe use some of that BP tourism-boosting money to offer free gas cards to visitors.

Free travel insurance isn't a bad idea either.

The best way to keep gas prices down is to USE less gas.

Turn off the empty running cars, tweak the thermostat, ease off the accelerator, cut plastic, and put a solar panel on the house.

I wish that was true. It's not that simple. Our gas prices are not tied to basic laws of supply and demand. There are shenanigans at work here.

It's still partly true - low demand knocks the rug out from under the speculators.

And OPEC finds it hard to screw w/ folks who don't NEED their product.

Here is a fun snapshot- gas prices from the last 2.5 years. If you believe supply/demand caused these fluctuations then pls help me find a chart that correctly correlates with this one.
