The bottles make great vases for flowers or a single huge bloom !

SJ, will you be bootlegging the Frapps while I am there? If yours are better than the prepackaged, I will be pulling into your drive at 2 am and will bring my own brown paper bag! :D

I have one every single morning....it's sad really. There isn't a Starbucks for over 60 miles, and I manage to get addicted to these things! :bang:

SJ, on the bootlegging I'd wager Sunny Daze knows whereof she speaks, and she's a Mental Health Therapist on top of it. Sounds like a good complement to your 007 (double naught spy) lifestyle... :D

She'd be sitting in your driveway awhile if she got there at 2AM; oh wait, that's me...

There are still numerous counties here in KY that are "dry", meaning no sale of alcohol. The bootleggers love the law, it makes them a lot of money!

No Starbucks, no alcohol :bang:
Have to load up on booze and a real latte when going into the big city here!

Again, thanks for the warm welcomes!

Brings back memories from a college days (UC) camping trip with several buddies to Red River Gorge area in the mid-70's - when something like 85 of 120 counties were "dry"... "Whacha got back there, boy?" (6 guys, back of station wagon packed to brim with equal distribution of camping gear & beverages, query by fellow straight out of a Smokey & the Bandit movie) "Donchall know this here's a drah county? We're gonna hafta confiscate all that stuff, and y'all are gonna hafta see the judge tomarra marnin 'bout bringin illegal likor down here..." :laughing1
Wasn't all that funny at the time, but I can laugh now. :D

I remember when I lived in Bowling Green, KY, we had to make sure we bought beer on Saturday night to have for football on Sunday being as you cant buy alcohol on Sundays in KY. Either that or we had to make a 25 minute drive to the TN border to hit the ga station in Portland. No more of that problem now that I'm in TN. Well, you do have to wait till noon on Sunday to buy beer, but thats about the only problem.

I think it is beautiful here...if only we had a beach instead of our pool out back!

I have been noticing quite a few Kentuckians on here as well!

I am in the Lake Cumberland area, just a few miles from one of the many state parks on the lake.

RiverOtter would LOVE this huge lake!

We would consider moving to Kentucky, if it wasn't so dang far from Grayton :sosad:

Oh, and :welcome:
