BUT I MISS SOWAL!!!! I knew the long drive, for just 36 hours, would be worth it, and it was!!!!!!! :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:
Same time next year!!!! This MUST be an annual event! And Sam was so worth the money...he stayed the whole night and tended the fire!!!!:bow:
I think he had as much funn as the rest of us!

I enjoyed meeting each and every person there last night....I hope the non-board members will come on and join us here!
One SoWaller there last night, Goofer, doesn't post much...but hopefully he will do so more now that he has met us!!

If it's any consolation, the grits from this morning stayed with me all day, and then my neighbor told me that he learned that carpenter ants will explode if they eat them, so now I know what was happening to me today, and I wouldn't have wanted you to witness that.:floor:

:shock: ....grits will expand some, but I think he may have been referring to uncooked grits...now those will really expand! I wish fire ants would eat grits....:biggrin:
Loved brunching with you all this am , before heading home! Sorry if I was a bit subdued....I think I was still in lala land after the amazing day and night! (plus not looking forward to the drive home!)

I think so too!! We tried to get there early....just didn't happen. Watched the sunset from 30A (behind a very slow moving limo)

Glad you made it home Alli. So sorry I missed breakfast. I realy wanted to get there but was feeling VERY rough and got stuck on the phone.

Also I forgot to get Sunny's gift from you, :( Sorry! It was a crazy night. I'll get it at christmas.

Thanks to all for such a great time. BB had mentioned have the soiree earlier in the year so it's not football season and not HOA season so we might have to have another in the Spring :floor:

Allifunn, isn't it sad to be home so soon? I am lobbying hard for a month in SoWal next year. Certain ladies I know have way too much funn in October at the beach and next year I wanna be one of them!

Wish we could have made it to dinner, but this mango was pooped to the pit.
DD left around 7:15 this morning. She and Allifunn definitely get traveling dedication award. DD said she would call when she got home.
