She is a stray that a friend of mine took in but can't keep with his other cats. I named her Molly Molasses. She is deaf from being malnourished.
I am not quite ready to be home with a cat for the rest of my life. She is sweet though. Still.....

I don't personally have a digital camera but will get a pic when I can. She is the color of molasses and burnt sugar. Beautiful face.

My sister has had 2 strays that just found her. They are wonderful cats. At least with a cat though you can leave them for a couple of days with plenty of food and water and they will be ok if you want to get away for a few days!! I wish you good luck with her!

Oh Steele Mama, no wonder you took Molly Molasses in! Our cat Daisy has coloring like that, except that she's long-haired and has quite a bit of white in her as well. Like Molly, Daisy has a sweet face and disposition. Sometimes we think she's a dog with a cat's body wrapped around it. You'll like having a cat. They're easy to have around and easy to care for and you'll soon be wondering how you ever did without her.

Thanks Mermaid and Darlene.
She is pretty but still rather skinny. Have to fatten her up.
I don't like litter boxes. I empty it every day and I don't like it. :creepy:

SM, if she was a stray, she may not like littler boxes either...most of the strays I've ever taken in were "house trained"---they just went to the door when they wanted out...but, if you must, they have those self cleaning litter boxes that seem pretty cool. I don't have one, but my friend swears by hers. They run around $100, but might be worth it.....
Bless you for taking her in....you shall be rewarded in heaven....

100 what?????? For a litter box????? See, this is why I have never had pets. I can't afford to feed myself. No really, I'm OK.
She is litter box trained but when it gets warm again I will try her outside some. She acts like she wants to go out now.

I just felt like posting a pic because he is so cute. Not Kenny, Kyle and Bob, even though they are cute too. Does this have anything to do with a
cat?

I can teach you how to fatten up that cat. Ask MAN-go.
I have one that is 24 lbs.
Looks like you got yourself a calico cat. I have one of those also named Pippi . Mine has a mole on her nose though. Tootsie would die laughing.

Speaking of litter boxes, from earlier in this thread...Ultra Pearls is amazing. I'm sure that the Tidy Cat Crystals work well too. It's expensive, but you only really need to change the litter out about once a month, and I have two cats. Of course, you still have to dig the darkies out, but even that's not too bad.

We used to use the Tidy Cat Crystal Blend, and there is no comparison. No longer does the odor of cat urine permeate my house.

Puppy pee is a different story. Wish THEY would learn to use the litter box...:pissed:

That happened to Merman, too! When we were first married we looked at a litter of kittens and this sweet little gray and white one came up to him and picked him out. That cat was devoted to my husband from day one. When we'd go out for walks in the neighborhood, she'd tag behind him. It was the funniest looking thing you ever saw.
