That's my Roxy. She died in February and to say that I was a mess is the understatement of the year. I can't talk about it. I still can't.

I had a boxer and he died when I was in high school. He was my first puppy, his name was Bowser.

I came home from school and found him dead in our backyard, he had, had a seizure. I pitched a fit. It took me a long time to get the thought of him probably needing help and no one was at home to help him out of my mind. I have never really told anyone this before.

Oh, I am so sorry. That must have been awful...for both of you. I've been very lucky -- both of my babies are old -- 12 and 13. I've never lost a dog, and I know I will come apart when the day comes.

Well they have a lot of years left in them at 12 and 13, so you don't have to think about that for a good while ;-)

We are all friends here Bsmarty.....no shame in losing it over losing a beloved pet. I am sure you were upset about not being there...but it was a well loved friend and loved back
