Today was our first day of break. I slept in until 9:45! I then got ready, dropped the kiddos off at a friend's house, went out to lunch and had a massage with girlfriends and then shopping. It HAS been a rough day but I will make the sacrifice and wait up for our little hottie. :wub:

BTW, this was a very rare occurance and I savored every moment!

She's on Central Standad Time so she's not supposed to be home yet at 10:17. You all will just have to hang on a little longer. ;-) (& give her time to pay the sitter, etc., before she logs on.)

I did all my my food shopping today for the holidays today since 11:00 am and didn't get in till 7:30 pm.

Then made dinner and I crashed at 8:30, so I might make it till she gets home.
I'll be waiting :popcorn:

OMG gullfriends - yes I stayed out past my curfew - I had a REALLY nice time.

My kids are still awake and I need to get them into bed, then I will be back with a full report (and I told him about the website and my Sowal friends and he promised not to look for my post - LOL!)

Ok, time for all the lurid details like I promised (well they're not really lurid, but I'll give you details!) It was a very good date. Seems like we have a lot in common, from growing up in blended families and being the youngest sibling to being admitted news junkies - lol. We met for dinner at 7 (well I was a few minutes "fashionably late" but I did call him to let him know that traffic was bad.) He told me I looked "exceptionally beautiful" which has got to be just about the nicest compliment a man has ever paid me. It didn't take long for me to feel at ease. The conversation was non-stop and there was a lot of eye-contact. Before I knew it, it was already 11 and past my curfew (good thing the sitter was my MIL and I knew I could be a few minutes late!) We held hands a little while we talked after dinner and shared a simple kiss goodnight (I'm getting over a cold and didn't want to get him sick!) We are definitely going out again after Christmas. Sorry again for being late and keeping you all in suspense!

:clap_1: ...This sounds just about perfect!!! You are excused for missing your curfew! As you can see, I woke up early and needed to check to see if you got in last night! ;-)
