Congrats to you and the little pod, Peapod!
As a preschool teacher in Denver, I had teacher/parent conferences twice a year. It was always an interesting experience.
I told the parents "If you promise not to believe everything your child says about school, I promise not to believe everything your child says about home life." ;-)
Another teacher, perhaps a more loosey-goosey type, always posted the New Yorker cartoon of the nervous parents sitting at the teacher's desk for conference time. In the cartoon, the teacher has a rather unpleasant demeanor.
The caption reads: "Your daughter is a b*tch."

or the ever popular "please don't try to explain to me how to teach, and i won't try to tell you how to parent"

Congrats on a job well done. I am not sure when my kids have conferences, but maybe you can just take care of that for me when you are here.
You are a professional at this now!:clap_1:

spidey is 4 and I've been to about 7 or so teacher/parent conferences already (starting at age 2). mostly good except that phase when he liked pushing down the babies just for fun.
by the way, about the loosey-goosey teacher - what do you mean she "posted" that cartoon? where? it's funny!
