Hey DD,
Be glad your class has folks interested in doing a reunion. My HS class are such slugs we never get around to it. My husbands class on the other hand is pretty good about keeping up. Just had the 30th and I dreaded going, but you know what, it was a boatload of fun catching up with all those folks. Nothing special, just drinks, BBQ, DJ, and lots of chit chat.

How about just hanging out in a parking lot, drinking beer from a 12 pack out of the trunk, listening to Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, etc....

Sounds funn! I've been to them all. We've had a 10, 20, 25 and 30. Some were more funn than others. 😀

My class of '48 held its 60th in 2008. It was loads of fun and really enjoyed seeing all who are now pretty much retired. I don't know if they are planning a 65th or not but they did talk about it at the 60th. Plan just good food, drinks and we had a boat excursion on Lake Pueblo. People mostly just want to compare experiences.

Scan individual pictures from your yearbook and make funny comments about "then and now"; and do a slide show. I did it a few years ago and it was quite entertaining (and somewhat embarassing).
I can send you a sample if you want.

Just have a simple smoking, drinking, cussing party. ;-)
My class is a bunch of slackers as well. Everyone refuses to plan the reunion!

It was very well received. You do need nametags, BTW.

Thanks, cabythesea. I will run this by the committee today. Like it!
sns: This is perfect!
Thanks all for your suggestions. Great ones! I'm sure you'll hear more about this as time goes on. It seems to already be headed in the direction some of you suggest. BBQ/beer/bonfire..in a pasture. Lots of s/d/c is a given I think. I must admit, I haven't seen these peeps in 10 years, and most of them I never hung out with.....ours was a small and select [STRIKE]clique[/STRIKE] group.

I'm supposed to go to mine in June. If there's any good stuff I'll pass it along. Also, ask Darlene for ideas. She helped plan one a couple of years ago and you know that girl knows funn!!!

Hire Charlie Sheen as a consultant. I'm sure he'll make it a lively event.

By then, it might be the only gig he can get.
