For once, many of the so-called "experts" were right. Ohio St. vs Michigan would have been a better game.
I'm disappointed LSU was No. 3 in the final poll. I'm convinced the Tigers would have also wiped the floor with Ohio State. Auburn too.

So you are one of those people. :funn: Last night, I found a UGA fan whose family's season tickets are now in jeapordy after cheering for Univ of Florida. I explained to her that one should never lower herself to that level and she came back with the "they're in the SEC" excuse. I am reporting her to the Bulldog Club immediately.
I saw many people wearing red at the gym yesterday, and one guy commented that he liked another guy's shirt -- it was an Ohio State Football tee shirt. I thought, maybe he is hitting on the guy, then I realized there was a football game about to get started.
Very, very impressive. Unlike some others on this board regarding other SEC teams (you listening, Kurt?), I give credit where it's due. UF's defensive ends played about as well as any I have ever seen in a game of that magnitude. And it was great to see Leak have a good game in the face of some of the unfair, cruel criticism from UF fans over the last four years.
Of course, Kurt says I'm delusional, so obviously, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Still, congrats to the Gators.
I'm sorry to say this. Ever since 2005's Alabama-Florida game I have thought Chris Leak is overrated. I will continue to think this.
The morning after...I still gotta hand it to the gators for an awesome performance. We knew they were fast, the entire SEC knows they are good, why doesn't anyone else listen?
For my Ohio State friends...it hurts to stink up an NC game. I've been there three times. I will say it's still better than stinking up the whole season.![]()
I'll also admit that, if my team wasn't making the coaching changes we are making, I'd be physically sick today. I'm not expecting overnight miracles, but I'm excited about the future at Florida State.
I just wish we didn't have to play the Gators at Florida Field next year.
Yeah, thanks for sending Kevin Steele our way. He seems like the real deal. I think Fisher will do a good job for y'all, though.
And I already have travel plans made for the Bama/FSU game at Alltel next fall. Should be a good time.

Me too. I've never seen Bama in person; I'm looking forward to it. Praying it's not a day game so we don't all roast in those teal seats.![]()
I know it's basically a 50/50 ticket split, but I wonder who the designated home team is? Not that it matters, but that will drive who televises the game. If FSU is the home team, it will either be ABC or ESPN. If Bama is the home team, it will either be CBS or ESPN.
But I agree, I am praying for a night game.
Some friends and I (one of whom works for Alltel) are trying to finagle a skybox. Only problem is, it's $500 a head
