Speaking of bbq, there was an article last week in our paper about Alabama bbq. It mentioned Tuscaloosa's Dreamland BBQ Ribs, and Golden Rule Bar-B-Que, Jim N' Nicks, Full Moon and Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Que. Any of you Bama gulls know these places? Any good?

I don't like Dreamland here in Huntsville. However I heard the one in Ttown is good. Whitey? Golden Rule - Excellant. Jim N' Nicks - Yuck. Never heard of Full Moon.. Big Bob Gibson - THE BEST!!!! They make the best White Bar B Que Sauce in the world. We eat it on everything. You can buy it at Kroger and Publix, Wally World does not sale it!!!!

What the heck is White Bar B Que Sauce? I never heard of that but if you say it tastes good I'll give it a try.

We need to get Kurt to move the bar-b-que part of this thread to the food pages! This is great. If I have to drive 12 hours to get to SoWal, a good little bar-b-que stop might be just the thing. I'm getting a little bored of stopping in Luverne at Annie's. Got to find someplace else!

How about this: if it turns out you're going to the beach again in October, we'll swing by and pick you up and start the trip out right at Big Bob Gibson's! Next week we have to go through Atlanta to visit my bro so I think we'll try the bar-b-que in Columbus on the way to the beach afterward.
