Silly goose. You know we don't know what we are supposed to "BE" for the day until we read the sign at the Hibiscus. :clap_1: But I have no idea what it says today. Maybe somebody saw it and will enlighten us. I loved being at the beach and seeing it every morning- kinda nice to let a sign do the thinking for your mood of the day!

I have property right on 30A (north side, but right on it) and another right behind that (fairly new - 3 yrs old) and I have a place about 2 yrs old on the beach in PCB (that is pretty incredible), and I never mention it much because I know it is going to get everybody started. That is why others think the people on this board are snooty. Not me, I don't care, I stopped letting things like that bother me long ago. I actually love everybody on here and get a lot of humor from it, but some people get their feelings hurt. You said a nice thing. Thank you.
;-) No one should not be able to come on here and ask about things in PC Beach. PC Beach is not taboo! Same beach as in Sowal. And yes, this is a Sowal board. And I am sure there are people that go over there and eat and do other things that are from Sowal. So it is not like they don't know about things over there. PC Beach is not a trashy place. People would find that out if they went there and saw all the hi rises that are up. Looking like Destin. Might be afraid they might enjoy it if they venture out to Destin or PC Beach out of the comfort zone.

I guess the world is the same no matter where you go. Here in Dallas, you can live in a neighborhood where your kids attend the same excellent schools and you share the same zip code, but if you happen to live EAST of a certain street, there is a snob factor directed towards you. Silly to me, but that's how it goes. I am sure it is the same where you live.
Personally, I give no thought to where anyone owns, rents, eats, plays when in the Panhandle of Florida. There is something for everyone...Thank goodness! When we started vacationing down there in 1986, we started out in Sandestin and when it became too crowded for us, we moved to the 30-A area. We continued to drive into Destin a few times for entertainment when the kids were younger. Now, we find that we do not drive into Destin for much other than a pickup at the airport. It's NOT a snob factor, it's just what we do. I hardly think keeping this board geared towards what's going on in SoWal to be snooty. I have vistited the PCB board and it is geared for that part of the Panhandle. It is also the place I would go if I were looking for info on PCB...they are helpful to one another, just like we are here.
