We're leaving for California this Saturday and American Idol will be on this coming Tuesday. We'll have a blast, especially since my sister-in-law and brother-in-law know their way around Los Angeles and have been to American Idol before. We are indeed planning to spend part of the weekend making our posters. I'll be the one in the audience with a SoWal Taylor Hicks sign.

I'd just have to stop using hair gel and our hair would be pretty darn similar (his is thicker) :funn: Maybe I should wear a black T-shirt, jeans, and a sports jacket to American Idol (isn't that what he wears?).

I often wear black (or white) T-shirts or turtleneck shirts with jeans anyway, so it's not much of a stretch. I guess those of us with short, salt and pepper hair go for the simple look so our trendy locks can get center stage.
