Hello - I am new to this forum, and found it while researching the ethics charges against the Walton County Commissioner. I work in Walton County, as needed, and love this whole area of the Panhandle.
I would like to see control of these natural resources be more in control of actual residents, than the absentee landowners & officials, who are only interested in their supposed property values, and how many taxes/services that the government can collect and promise to provide.
I hope to help this area grow in a more controlled and representative manner...the recent Tea Parties are a good start. Maybe, people are waking up and will get involved.
Jim
