Is religion hiding in my grocery cart?

After the "Scripture on Scopes" thread I am curious - what other products have hidden or not so hidden religious messages?

Someone mentioned potato chips w/ Bible verses on the bags. What are others?

I disagree. A simple banana may be one's direct connection to God, and the banana isn't symbolic of religion, though the fruits of the Earth may be that connection to God, ie- spirituality. By the way, spirituality doesn't always involve the act of worshipping one.

Not sure what these guys are doing with the banana.

thanks for saying that. spirituality is not religion. it is within.

I think scooty's question has to do with religious words or influence imposed by companies on a commercial product. she was not referring to anything spiritual.

the ONLY hot dog worth eating!

I like them all, but manage to limit my intake. My favorites are the Boar's head brand they sell at Publix. I like the skins.

Eleven consecutive posts pertaining to either hot dogs or bananas. I'll bet donuts to dollars you'll never see that again.

There's always someone using my name.

I forgive you for seeing my screenname and registering one just like it. But lest we not forget-

Thou shall not steal.

That said, imitation is the ultimate form of flattery and since you are trying to be like me that actually makes you "Christ like". I can live with that.

To my flock:

It should be apparent to you who is real and who is the imposter. You see, only the brightest stars in Heaven (and in Hollywood) don't need to use their last name.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Madonna, Cher, Elvis
You get the picture.

Just one last thing-
If you must post using my name, pls do so divinely.

But, when you arrived (and, so glad you did, BTW), we went from Ten Commandments to the Two Great Ones, remember?

Why do the Jews still have 600 and something? :idontno:

No. But it was a really long time ago. I would stick with most of the original ten until we formally release an updated version.

Let me make a few phone calls. We can probably update this one too.
