No, she's one of those SMU people. Just like my Tulane classmates, we're intellectually superior to those who are into sports. JUST KIDDING, MISS K, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Oh I will miss college basketball in Kentucky....this is the first March in 22 years that I have not lived in KY!)

It's funny- when Pitino came to UK, it was like the second coming of Christ. When he left to go to UL, he was immediately something smelly on the shoe for UK fans....

I think Pitino is brilliant. He worked both sides of one of the most feverish basketball states rivalries, and made lots of money doing it. Lexington had lots of fun when Pitino came to town, and so did Louisville. But it might be time for him to go on and work his magic elsewhere- he does better during the initial fever pitch of his arrival.
