I never understood how Beach Jacket's ex-boyfriend got accepted at Auburn. He was illiterate. He couldn't write a grammatically-correct sentence. I don't think he could do a good job with a coloring book. But he had a boatload of money available to him (like, do you want Bacchanalia every weekend -- no problem), so he was convenient.

Bottom line: I don't think Auburn's admissions standards are very high. I do know a lot of smart students at Auburn. One of the top 5 smartest of all of the students I've had during my career as a professor just got his Ph.D. at Auburn.
