Kimmifunn!!!

I'm here in the Bham airport. Luckily I can "Sowal while I wait". We go to the airport and I had deleted my flight info, so Gfunn, Drex and myself had to run from kisok to kiosk when we figured out it was Contienental. Then we got in the security line where they are taking EVERYTHING. I'm having Drex overnight me my Frederik Fekkai hair stuff and my Shumera mascara because they tried to take it. They are taking EVERTHING. Lipstick, lip gloss, ect. And this is just Bham. It's pretty scary though. Actually scary is the big blonde that is waiting on me to get in town!

Either way, I'm ready to get this show on the road. I'm on standby for a later flight out of Houston. Let's just hope I can get there and get on one of the flights.

I'm just oo drained to even think at this point.

And the Birmingham airport is not necessarily the best airport to be stuck in!

It's crazy. Like one woman said on CNN, "Do you really think my blush could be turned into a bomb?" An Atlanta news reporter said she had seen thousands and thousands of dollars worth of makeup in the trash. There's no way I'd throw out my makeup. It was smart of you to mail it. No way I'd trust my makeup to the brutality of baggage handlers. It would all be broken and ruining all of the clothes in my checked baggage.

I will not be flying for a while...I mean, I love it sooo much anyway, and now no make up or hair products..no way...it would just be too skeery!

Exactly! Mr. Pod and I were talking about this tonight, and I said I find the whole thing completely illogical--think about it. If this plot has been truly thwarted, then everything they're doing now is completely unnecessary. If the government is going to be so bold as to declare the to-be perpetrators have been caught, then why put all these people through such ridiculous inconveniences? It seems so silly to me.

But beyond that, forget it. This is permanent. I mean, we're still taking our shoes off for security, right? I guess they figured banning liquids (the alleged base for the bombs) would be a lot better than banning ALL electronic devices (the alleged detonators). Makeup before laptops!
