FTLOG, you would not even believe my adventure yesterday! Mr. K and I arrived at the airport in Dallas around 4 pm to catch our 5 pm plane to Chicago. I had been watching the weather all day because I don't like to fly and I knew the weather was bad in the Midwest (told you Johnrudy!!!) So, we check in and the plane is now scheduled for 6 pm. We finally board at 5:30 pm (FIRST class, thank you Mr. K!) and the pilot says we will be parking on the runway until we are cleared for landing in Chicago. We sat on the runway until...7:50 pm!!!!! Now, I am sitting there just knowing that we are going to hit turbulence and crash...sorry, that's the way I think. It was like the Twilight Zone when we were landing...all you could see was white outside and I was expecting to see a person looking in the window!!! It was bumpy, but we survived and landed about 9:45 pm. I slept like a kitty cat last night!

Now for the good news. Mr. K taught me how to text message on my phone! I sent jfunn two messages and she did not respond!!! BTW...neither did sarafunn or MS!!! If you dare, send me your cell phone number, I will try and send you a "tex" message. It only takes me about 10 minutes per word!!!

Wow! All that for a little rain? So sorry! I think somebody was lieing to you all in Dallas. It was just barely sprinkling here. And we're 15 min. from O'Hare!
Anyway, it's supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow. That's rare for March in Chgo.

i'm glad you arrived safely kitty cat - we are neither one flyers here, esp. mr audie. i would send you my #, but i have no idea how to access text messages on my phone, so it would be a waste of your time. just call me a technotard. :lol:

Oh wow Miss Kitty...the weather was pretty bad here yesterday!! sorry you had a bad day, but glad you got a good cat nap in!!!!

miss k are you sure you have text messaging on your phone??? i sent you one. did you get that one? what about the pictures did you find them? i have so many unanswered questions.

Poor Kitty! I would hate to sit that long on a plane waiting for take off. Did they at least offer you snacks? Maybe some catnip? Gald you made it safely there.

I am glad you made it ok. The weather was so bad in KY and MO last night, I was worried that your flight would be cancelled. Have funn in Chicago.

My Kitty....I am so glad you arrived safely!!!! I was worried just reading your post! We had terrible weather here yesterday, but today is beautiful, sunny, high of 75. YEAH!!!!!!!!! Have a safe trip home. Sure am gonna miss you not being on here!!!
