Beau Interiors presents the 3rd Annual Grayton Beach Kous Kouri Race on Saturday, November 30 from 8 a.m. til 10:30 a.m. at Grayton Beach State Park! Runners have the option to participate in the 4-mile or 8-mile course. Registration is open online.
DETAILS
Both races begin promptly at 8am. Both races start and finish adjacent the pavilion at the end of Main Park Road and, with the exceptions of crossing over County Road 30A (CR-30A) and running to/from the trailhead, they are run exclusively inside of Grayton Beach State Park.
There will be an awards ceremony beginning at 9:30am. The overall male and female winner for the 8-miler will each receive a $100 gift card. The overall male and female winner for the 4-miler will each receive a $50 gift card. Age-group awards for both males and females will also be given.
This year’s benefiting organization is once again Streethearts, a rescue program for children living on the street in Cap-Haitian, Haiti. Streethearts is dedicated to ending the population of homeless children in Haiti. They offer basic hygiene, medical care, rehabilitation, education, sports, community service, and workforce training across 5 phases of lifestyle development in an effort to get these kids back into their communities as healthy, productive members of society.
