I have 2 rescue dogs- and I would take more if I could!! Now more than ever, if you are considering a pet for your family, please get a rescue from a shelter. Because of the economy, they are overloaded. Most of these dogs and cats were family pets before ending up at Alaqua, and are innocent victims of the current hard times. Please make Alaqua your first stop when you are looking for a new furry family member.

how else can we help other than adopting? already have enough for now.

Alaqua Animal Refuge

Great website- and there are many ways you can help!

how else can we help other than adopting? already have enough for now.

Oh my gosh...let me count the ways!...THANK YOU FOR ASKING!

one thing I do not think most people know is Alaqua has an unbelievable monthly operating expense of $1000.00 PER DAY...of which is only funded by donations.
they have received grants to do things like fencing/buildings things like this...but NO GRANT MONIES are used for the everyday things like doG/cat food, horse feed, things like this

THE EASIEST WAY TO HELP IS DONATE CASH ONLINE THROUGH THEIR WEB SITE
http://WWW.alaquaanimalrefuge.com

if all you can donate is $10.00..you should know it will be just as appreciated as if it were 1000.00
if you can donate $1000.00, it will also be profoundly appreciated.
