Legal Assistant/Secretary wanted for solo practitioner law firm. The firm’s practice is limited to litigation matters and is located on Central Square in Seaside, Florida. Although legal experience is not an absolute necessity, prior experience in a legal setting would be very helpful. Most important is possession of a skill set including self-direction, punctuality and smooth interaction with the public and other members of the legal profession.
In recent years, the legal profession, and especially those engaged in litigation, have transitioned almost completely to electronic filing and notice. A strong familiarity with word processing and online navigation is therefore a prerequisite.
