Looking for someone with automotive knowledge to barter with.....

I need work done on my son's 98 Intrepid, what ever is wrong with it is beyond my limited knowledge. I think it needs a new thermostat but I can't get to it...so, I would be able to pay some in cash and depending upon the price trade the remainder with custom made leather and pearl jewelry, hand made, some blown(yes those as well), glass work. Like I said, depending upon the severity/difficulty of the repairs I may be able to pay some cash. As I'm sure you all know too well, this month is a little tight after the holidays and just the perfect time to have an engine give out....;-)
