Wondering who everyone thinks will win the LSU-Notre Dame game that starts in about 30 minutes. We know who Skunky and InletBchDweller will pick. ;-) Or at least I think. :idontno:

Notre Dame is going to get killed.

But I bet the French Quarter is a blast with all the Catholics rocking out.

They are clobbering Notre Dame. I really thought that it would be a little closer than what it is.

 Yes it did. We'll have to reopen our UF-LSU trash talk on Jan. 9 Skunky. Meantime, enjoy the victory!

You are SO freaking lucky that we tried to run the ball at Auburn this year until mid fourth quarter...and the refs sucked:lol: Scared of Saban yet? I think Tubbs won one more game against him than he lost, but Saban ought to get a Mulligan for the 2002 game-either his mother or father (I forget which) died maybe the Monday or Tuesday of the LSU-Auburn week so he spent much of the week at the family home in (I think) West Virginia. He showed up for the game and Auburn demolished LSU in the rain. However, Saban nearly induced a stroke from Tubbs in 2001 when LSU did an onsides kick to open the game and got the ball...poor Tubby was apoplectic. I am telling you, this Saban thing is going to heat the Auburn-Alabama rivalry to the maximum-even though I think in 'real life' they are pretty good friends. I think the LSU crowd thinks it is funnier more than anything else that the guy is on the record stating he will never coach at Bama and then waited for the cashpot to grow. The shepherd has come to the flock:floor: Nobody at LSU was mad about him going to Miami...in fact, the Saints played the Dolphins in Tiger Stadium in 2005 when Katrina had wrecked the Superdome...Saban had a heroes welcome.

IMO the LSU game was awesome. They looked great! Skunky should be proud -- heck, the whole SEC should be proud. I haven't counted it up myself, but hubby says SEC is 5-3 in bowls versus 2-3 for Big 10. That gives me a bit of confidence going into Monday. The SEC is a great football league, despite what others might say.

When does that hoss of a QB get out of there?
Les Miles is the silent killer BTW.

The big QB still has a year of eligibility left...why he wouldn't go to the NFL I can't imagine. By the way, thank you Mobile, Alabama for Jamarcus Russell...Baton Rouge is way funner than those cow colleges up I-65 he coulda gone to. And if he DOES go pro, forget about a dropoff, we still have Matt Flynn who played last year's Peach Bowl and routed Miami 40-something to 7-ish, not to mention the QB everybody wanted, Ryan Perriloux. I'm telling you, next year's schedule is favorable for a run at #1:clap_1:
