Why did it hurt you???Never mind, I know why, because we beat you earlier in the season and you beat us in the SEC tournament but we still got in the NCAA tournament, and that is because of our strength of schedule and some of the teams we beat. We deserved to be in the NCAA tournament. We won 6 of our last 7 regular season games, finished with a 22-8 regular season record, beat ranked teams like Memphis, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma State, went 16-0 at home. That alone is enough to get you in tournament. Almost beat Ohio State. Yeah, I was holding my breath in the Tennessee-VA game. I knew it would be a closer game. Florida gets Butler, and I can tell you, Butler is small but fast and quick to cause a bunch of turnovers. Purdue played Florida a close game. I would trade any day and rather play Butler again than have to face Ohio State again. Butler beat us in the preseason NIT and held Tennessee to 46 points for the game, but I don't think they could do that this time. Yeah, there have been a lot of close games in this second round as you are getting down to the better teams left. But Wisconsin got upset, that is a #2 seed gone today. I feel for Kentucky having to face Kansas.
No, I had them losing to UVA on my bracket:roll:No, I had them losing to UVA on my bracket:roll:
Florida will be a tough match for Butler Audie. Now if Butler pulled off a win over Florida I would be stunned.
Ladyd, what did I tell you? The Vols are up! Go SEC!
Uh....THANK YOU!:clap_1:Ladyd must be flippin' out too much to be on the board!

Let's hope they keep it up. :clap_1:Really. It'll be great for the SEC.
Hey guys! Do you hear me yelling??? I am one happy Vol fan. Tennessee 49 Ohio State 32. They are looking great. Playing a good solid game. And Oden is on the bench already with 3 fouls in the first half. And only 2 points I believe. Tennessee is knocking down the threes. Since the Vols have already played Ohio State this year, they are very familiar with their style of play. And not to mention, Chris Lofton didn't play in the first meeting with Ohio State as he was out 4 games with an injured ankle. But he is making up for it tonight. Let's hope they keep it up. :clap_1:
They're in my finals....with UCLA!BOO! Not the GATORS?They're in my finals....with UCLA!
I'm wounded.They're in my finals....with UCLA!
I so bad want them to have a strong second half. I do not want them losing their steam in the second half. They have been known to do that. And they need to be consistent at the foul line. They have not shot as well at the foul line this season. But they are getting good inside shots this time. And it surprises me. And their 3 pt. shooting is phenomenal.Just take a deep breath and chill. I know tomorrow night I'll be stressed to the max during our game. I will try to follow my own advice. LOL.

Told you they would go downhill in the second half. They have only scored 2 points in 4:13, Ohio State has scored 12. Tennessee's shooting has dropped from 50 something percent in the 1st half to 20% now. And they are missing foul shots, and now are not getting rebounds. What I expected. I am afraid Beach Runner a deep breath and chilling will not help me. Don't know whether I can watch the rest. I get nervous when it is close like this with not much time left in the game. Luckily Tennessee has knocked down 3 straight 3 pointers. I'm sweating. What a heartbreaker! Tonight's games were too close for comfort!

This is how it ended back on January 13th when they played Ohio State at Columbus. Ended up losing by two that night. They had a chance to win it last minute, but unfortunately when Ramar Smith went up with the ball this time Oden was waiting and blocked it away. I can tell you what cost them the game, their foul shooting. They miss 1 of 2 every time they are at the line. I bet they missed at least 10 points worth of foul shots. They have really slumped this season on foul shooting compared to the 80% they shot as a team last season. But I look at it this way, they made it one more round this year than last year and have won two more games than they won last year. And they have some fantastic freshmen that will be a force to be reckoned with next year. Their freshmen players are great now. They just did too much in the first half and it took a while for them to get going in the second half. But I think they played a great game.Sorry.

Sorry.

Is the madness over yet? someone told me this tourn. last only one week.
