;-) He's from Memphis you know! Bet you cannot get anywhere close to him. Would have you tell him hello from a fellow Memphian! But, it might be different with him. Wondering what he is doing at Destin??? Movie perhaps! Or could be just vacationing like other people from the midsouth!!!

Morgan Freeman has a place in Destin. We fly our plane into Destin a lot and so does he. Seems very nice. He spends a lot of time in Destin.

I was in Driving Miss Daisy with him, as a "Featured Extra". :wub: That meant that you were "paying your dues", with a daily pay of about $35! I played the Secretary, to the Cadillac Dealership owner. I really wish that I had a photo, of the fifties attire that we wore. MF was a very down to earth & nice guy, but Dan Akroyd was a jerk! Supposedly, he suffered with hangovers, daily! :floor: :floor: :floor:

I cannot imagine him sitting in a local donut shop though to be mobbed. But to me he has always seemed down to earth. Probably is a pretty nice guy. Like other midsoutherners, likes the panhandle! Has good taste!

being low key is his thing. people get not to bug celebs. at least at this point i hope so.

i wanted morgan freeman to play me in the short film we are making---he and i almost sound alike.;-)

I can't remember what State it was, Tennessee or Mississippi, but apparently he owns a bar or frequents one ( I think Mississippi) and my sister in law and husband were traveling through the area, and she had to go to the bathroom real bad! They stopped at the bar and she went in, and got a little nervous and came back out. Morgan Freeman came back out to get her, and then offered them lunch since apparently they were in the middle of no where.
They enjoyed spending time with him and he was down to earth and sweet.
Glad he is also a Destin residence.
