Up early with big storm, including some hail. But, we needed the rain. I think some even fell on the fires out west--good news for them.

Official countdown starts today. 3 more days and I'll be on the road! Yippee!!!

What's up with y'all today?

This is a good mornin'. I am just glad to wake up alive after all of the tornado warnings and sirens last night.

One of my nephews is a freshman at the University of Alabama. He said that across the street from him, everything was destroyed, but he's okay.

I haven't been able to get in touch with Mom's assisted-living facility in Newnan where there were multiple tornado warnings. I'm hoping that no news is good news.

Mornin, All Y'all!! Drive safely, DD and have a blast....I am amazed at the hour you were up and at 'em! Tornadoes north and south of me last night, but not in my neighborhood. State of Emergency here today.

Mornin!!!! I missed the whole wedding, but I'm watching the recap with my darling Kitty. The drive was a mofo, but I was delighted to find NO WIND! Had a wonderful dinner with some great peeps last night, but that's another thread. It's a beautiful day in my beloved Sowal.
