Anyway, after we returned, mr. dd did a a load of laundry from the trip (bless his heart) and announced to me that the dryer wouldn't start. I told him I had tried it before we left with the same result. So today, while I was working on my Valentine card, he bought parts, tore the thing apart and replaced parts, to no avail. So then he comes and tells me we're going dryer shopping. I think to myself, "dang it! there goes my new vacuum cleaner!" We go to Home Depot. Well....I had forgotten what a picky shopper he is, and frankly never realized he even gave a hoot about how many different cycles are on a dryer! They only had one he liked, but it was out of stock, so he storms out and tells me to "come on--we're goin' to Best Buy." We looked at dryers for over an hour. Came home. No dryer. He is now hanging all those wet clothes on hangers in the laundry room. This is going to turn into an ordeal I can already tell. Wish me luck sowallers, I see a clothesline in my future!
