i really didn't know where to post this,just need to vent. I was almost in a terrible wreck. I was with a friend,we were waiting to pull out of our church parking lot. Another friend in a van was fixing to tur n in (a left tturn)we had just all waved. Ok in the mean time a kid in a pickup came flying up,hit my friend in the van,went airborn and came down not 2 feet from my side of the surburban. It was sooo fast!!!!!!!!!!!I've never been that close before. Judy and I were stunned and I couldn't get my door open to run check on my friend in the van. She didn't get out until offfical help came, she's at the hospital right now. When I got to Cindy,she was in complete shock,but not bleeding or anything.
The young kid jumped out of his truck unhurt thankfully.😱

Glad you're okay! I give you permission to take the rest of the day off and take some deep breaths...:shock: (and change your pants.) I hope your friend is okay--let us know.

I am so sorry. I do hope you are OK, and that your friend has no lasting injury.

So often young kids have no idea of the dangers in driving an automobile. Thank goodness he is alright.

Thanks everyone ,I'm fine. And good news,my friend that was hit (she was stopped and fixing to make a left turn,but waiting for us to pull out) actualy checked out ok at the hospital.She came walking in the dinnner tonight late and slow but there. She's sore and I'm sure she'll feel it more in the next few days.
Like I said it was like it happen super fast,but like I was watching it in slow motion at the same time.:wave:I just know that now even if I'm just going 1 mile down the paved road,Im putting on my seat belt! On these narrow, curvey country raods people fly!
