This thread was one of the best things Toots has ever created (besides Spidey/Batman). I felt a need to resurrect it, by starting a new one.

Here goes...

I have been in a typical pattern for February....unmotivated and blah. I HATE this and it happens every year! It will pass, it always does...but, in the meantime I will now go take a shower!!!!

It happens to me as well my little fur ball. But, guess what? Daylight savings time comes early this year. It is March 11. :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1: Just a few more weeks away. Maybe we can get out of the blahs then!!! I hope you have a good rest of the day.

Potato Vixen was the Producer, Toots was the Director, and there was a supporting cast of many. I love all our celebrity alter-egos!! :clap_1:

And yes Miss Kitty February is the month of doldrums. Eat some chocolates on St. Valentine's Day; that's what they're there for.

here's my day so far...

we went to the hospital for mr audie to get some lab work done for his dr appt. next week. then we drove down to mom and pops and checked on their cat and i cleaned the litter boxes :shock: . then we came home and mr audie had a dozen roses delivered to me for valentiney's day so i could enjoy them before i go back to work...

well talk about a needing some springtime......I was on my way home on a winding road and my tire blew out, lost control of the car, but managed to regain it and pull into someones driveway, well lawn. I wasn't really dressed in my warmest clothes either and I think my toes are gonna fall off from frostbite.

Oh my Mango!! Glad you're mostly okay!! Since it's been really cold, Dylan keeps trying to leave the house w/out a hat or gloves. I keep telling him...what if we're in an accident or our car breaks down...you would freeze to death! He doesn't believe that's going to happen. I guess it's one of those things he'll have to learn the hard way. Stay by the fire tonight if you can!

Driving home, I pass one to Mr. K and pop one in my mouth. YUMMY! All of a sudden, I thought..."why is this crunchy?" Yep, I cracked off 1/3 of a molar!!!! Just talked to my dentist...he said if I wasn't in pain now, I'd probably be okay until Monday. I'll definitely need a straw tomorrow along with my liquid painkiller.

Glad to hear you are OK! I keep a heavy coat, hat, gloves and scarf on the backseat of my car, and I live here in Florida full time!

I've got some peach schnapps! I think I'll take a shot of Peach Schnapps and two shots of Southern Comfort in a martini shaker, shake it up good and cold, pour it in a martini glass and enjoy it with this last piece of apple pie in the fridge.

Now if that don't cure the wintertime blahs, I don't know what will!

Yes, I am fine. I got meet a really nice elderly couple whose lawn I drove on and we entertained each other. They had just come home from dinner and the husband stayed outside with me. He asked if I could come by next Friday to entertain him. He said TV was boring him. :funn:

Miss Kitty - I feel your pain. Had an emergency appt at the dentist this AM for a busted filling. Now I have a temporary and he took impressions for some porcelain thingy and as long as I was there, I told him I broke my mouth guard and needed a new one - he told me to use Efferdent to clean the new one instead of the boiling water I used to sterilize and ruin the old one - LOL. And bless his soul he knocked $500 off my bill since he never really instructed me on the proper methods of cleaning a mouth guard. So the visit only cost $835 after the discount. Now where is that jaw dropping smiley I posted last night????

And Kitty, back to your original topic, I hate winter. My SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) gets worse every year. I am SOOOOO ready for spring and warm, sunny weather.
