hmmmmmmmmmmm........... I need to finish my new year's resolution from last year - remember DD? I was going to take all my photos from all my boxes and sort and make photo albums, etc. also print those digital ones that live on my computer and add them to the albums. I got a pretty good start but its still way undone.
my new resolution for 2010 is yoga. I miss it. and being without it has left me less healthy in several ways. I'm going to do it. its not a hard thing to do. getting started is the hard part.
happy new year to all!

Yoga sounds good, Tootsie. Are there affordable classes anywhere?
Thanks Tootsie. I have a couple of yoga dvd's but find it hard to watch the screen and try to concentrate on proper form at the same time. I could use an instructor, at least in the beginning, to master the poses. Yoga is so healthy, both physically and spiritually, that it's worth pursuing.
You guys also have a meditation class that meets twice a month on Thursday nights in your area. I've been thinking about trying one.

First, we party.

i'm sure she couldn't either and had a sister's assistance.
I always make a bunch - it's a good way to identify what my goals, hopes, and major "to do" items for the year are.
One of my themes for 2010 is to clear out a lot of unnecessary stuff and fix things I have let slide. Lots of long term projects that have been lingering - like actually printing out some of my thousands of digital photos and putting them in albums.
Another is to try and improve the world in a variety of ways and levels.
One way is that I am going to save all of my change for a year and then donate it all to Greg Mortensen to build a school - major karma points and it pisses off the Taliban.![]()

Yes, I remember. Make it an ongoing project!! Set aside one afternoon a month. I am so good at offering these little tips, don't you think?
I did get my already printed photos organized at some point last year, but haven't touched the ones on the computer. I sooo need to do that...pronto. I think it's more economical to send 'em to Walgreen's, so that's what I'm gonna do--one afternoon a month.
I'm not going so far as making it a resolution though.
My resolutions.....the same damn ones I have every year.![]()
There are many types of meditation, Tootsie. And I think I'm a better fit for your style. Not to mention, you can become more physically fit by meditating while exercising, than by sitting still for 30 minutes. And getting outdoors engenders appreciation for Creation, and gratitude is a wonderful tonic for well-being. But like most things, it's whatever works for the individual.
