Valentines, like New Years Eve, can be really an abhorrent celebration for those, for whatever reason, are without their own Valentine. If your partnered, married, engaged, etc., then the table for two in the restaurant of love is delicious and delectible, if not that resturant becomes only a fast food drive in for one.
 
Clint Clint is correct though, everyone should send out little sincere tokens of love here and there to the Universe. It can be amazing what comes back to you...and THANK GOD it is only ONE day. Peace and love.

I'm making a quilt today (commissioned job, but kind of fun!) and watching goofy chick flicks.  Or violent movies.  Or whatever.  A highly satisfactory Valentines Day.

I LOVE Valentine's Day!!! :wub:
So far I've gotten 2 black roses (spray painted no less), 3 cards - Grandma even put $20 in hers, a Hershey's chocolate kiss at lunch, and am briefly Sowalling before I have to get ready for champagne and a yummy dinner. 

Sadly, the annual tacky V-day undies did not arrive in the mail - a tradition with my college friends that will cause laughs and require explaining if I ever have a male date for V-day as the rule is you HAVE to wear it........and then you get to pay people back w/ your selections the next year. :rofl:

BTW - it is my 5 year anniversary w/ my dinner valentine/best girlfriend - her husband sucks and I am always between men, so we always go out and bring other girls to have a funn night. Oddly it's a "couple's day" yet we seem to always be having the best V-day of anyone in the restaurant. :D
