Meh. I mean some of what she says may be true, but a lot of it is overblown. A public option or medicare for all would be better, but again this is America. Everything is about corporate kickbacks.
I have news for this lady. A family of 4 making 66k is already paying $5,243 a year for health insurance, and likely much more. Also her claim that the plans will cover less is basically made up. Just an assumption and likely a wrong one. I doubt she is a middle class person buying insurance on the private market but she is very naive about what it really costs in the old system.
Plans on the exchanges will have minimum standards they must adhere to and premiums will be capped in a sense, in that a family will not have to pay more than 10% of income for insurance, and will often be supported by subsidies.
There is no such guarantee in the old system. Also 2% of annual income as a penalty is basically the cheapest health insurance ever. One could just go without if one is healthy, pay out of pocket for regular stuff, and then buy insurance if things go bad.
Also lol at this:
When this passes, it will become clear that Congress is no longer the sovereign of this nation. Rather, the corporations dictating the laws will be.
Did she just get to America?

I'm obviously not going to agree with her assessment either, but I did find it interesting.
FYI, on the subsidies, premium payouts will be capped, and will be further subsidised at tax time through a tax credit. People on these plans will still have to pay the full premium which will then be payed back to them when they file their taxes. In addition, there will still be a deductible, and out of pocket co-pays.
Here's a tax credit calculator if anyone is curious -
