Observations on a Spring day

I here you DD!!! It is going to be a beautiful day today!!!

Despite the forecast for rain it's beautiful in sowal so far!

Woo Hoo!!! It was beautiful here yesterday. A little cooler with rain expected, but I see spring around the corner. The grass is started to green up, and the clover is growing like crazy! YAY...so excited.

Isn't it amazing how warm sunshine makes a body feel? Those first days of spring are just like a gift. Loving it!

It's raining here today but at least its warm. Last week was wonderful with lots of sunshine! I love sunshine and have decided that I will not complain about the heat this summer!!After such a cold winter and personally burning 2 cords of wood..carrying every stick by myself. (good for the arms!)

the weather is just perfect today with just a tiny problem: mounds of pollen and a lot of wind.

otherwise - spirits are high and everybody is getting all twitterpated! a long winter makes us truly appreciate spring time every year. love it.

The weather up north here is in the high 50's and in some places low 60's. Beautiful sunny bright day. Come on SPRING!!!!!!

Update: Wild plums are blooming.

Woo Hoo!! 75 predicted here today!!! Makes me a happy girl. Hail, I shaved my legs, put on my fake tan and capris and some new cute animal print flats . They are gonna kill my feet, but I bandaged up and will endure.

House listing expiring in just days!
Neighbor's daffs blooming profusely!
Cats are out of the garage and enjoying the sunshine!
Birds were happy this morning too--singing their little hearts out!
I know we still have cold days ahead...shoot, it's Texas, but this day gives me hope & renewal!!!

The clouds are rolling in and it's getting dark.

Hey, I'm glad DD and others are having a great weather day. As for us, where did the dark clouds go? Looks like the SoWal happy weather vortex swallowed them up just in time for a great sunset. I'm heading down to the beach. Will take new phone with radar. Looks like darker clouds are still around Ft. Walton Beach and heading our way. Edit. Just saw DDs wild plums are blooming, too. Yea.

It's gonna be nasty tonight, the news said 3" of rain over the next 24 hours.

Well, good. I'm back from my hour long walk along the beach. Met some neat freshmen young ladies from the University of Georgia taking pictures of their first SoWal sunset. If it is going to rain that much, I may go out back and put a little cleaner on the boat. The giant blue heron that has been fishing from a top branch on my pine tree next to the lake has had quite his way with it. Mother Nature can just clean it up. The outfall is open and I also enjoyed watching a fish fight his way up from the gulf all the way into the lake. Looked like a two foot long mullet. Only had my phone camera. Have not learned how to download on the computer yet. Will trade training for bottle of wine.
