My son also says "it's better than 12, not as good as 11"

My daughter and other Oceans 11 fans have told me that it's better than 12 but not as good as 11.

This is how I feel about it. It's definitely an improvement over 12, but it doesn't have the same edge as 11. It's enjoyable, though.

I know I'm going to catch some crap for this, but I have to say: I have never been able to understand why Al Pacino is such a big deal. I've always found him a little boring. But I've also never seen Scarface.

He is certainly not boring to me...his sense of timing is a wonder to watch and listen to...I almost never watch movies a second time--but, I have watched portions of that one many times.

Ocean's 13 -- Anyone seen it?

Worth seeing?:dunno:
Just saw it... definitely worth seeing just for Al Pacino's performance - it's a classic role for him IMO and the rest of the cast is solid as always. It's the same old (tired) formula, but I was glad they were back in Vegas where the story works best. Ellen Barkin was a very refreshing and welcome change as the female lead!

HOOO-AWW:clap: Al Pacino made me fall IN LOOOVE w/ Lt.Col. Frank Slade. The quintessential SOOO GOOOD BAD BOY. YUMMm -- makin' me shivery

My middle aged mind is experiencing a "short"...wasn't Pacino also in Dog Day Afternoon??

Haven't seen Oceans 13 YET...but read in reviews that it's much better than 12. I don't mind an "old-tried-and-true" formula...I always loved Bond movies for that very reason. Some were better than others, but all provide a certain dependability for simple fun enjoyment.
