i slept all day, just got up not too long ago. i have no life.

The excitement of the Texgent is behind me, gotta go back to work tomorrow :( , weather crappy (wind, cold, no snow). Dang darling mr. dd is gonna make me clean the computer room/office :bang: y'all are nowhere to be found--could it be that you actually have lives on a Sunday afternoon? Come on, Darlene, a joke...Something!

Thank god..I thought everyone was in the twilight zone...weeeweeeweee, I have been shopping, cooking, reading , laundry and checking the board since 12:00..I was wondering where everyone was..I know Toots went to the movies...everyone else :idontno:

We went out for mexican after church then went shopping. I thought of Kimmi and Percy as I walked by Abercrombie. Standing right at the doorway was a half naked young man. Cute but a bit :shock: My kids thought he was a mannequin!

I got up at 7 and was back on the couch at 9 watching cooking shows...mr. dd did take me out for lunch once I dragged my lazy a$$ up...now I am cleaning the "office"/computer room/craft room/junk room. Got out all my valentine card making stuff. Guess that's what I'll do tonite and tomorrow. I'm now looking past Valentine's Day on to St. Patrick's. I just :wub: a reason to celebrate! :clap_1:

The Kitties just got back from running errands. Home Expo...looking at kitchen sinks and faucets, then to Tom Thumb (our grocery store!) to pour all of Mr. K's pennies in the Coinstar machine...$36.50!!! Then to Whole Foods and now we are home!

I had Mr. K clean out all the old shirts in his closet...he got all uppity at one point and took off on a walk! Came back and did just what I had asked! BTW...that's where I found his secret stash of pennies!!!

Yes, I make lots of cards. I gather up all sorts of scraps of paper, trim, sparkly stuff, etc. and then I whip up a few cards for "special people". Sometimes I paint them--but I am NO artist! They are rather rustic looking, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?

We finally got around to bathing the dogs today. :pissed: Craziness! That is the only use I can find for the stupid "garden tub" in my bathroom. Well, that, and a swimming pool for Kate.

I'm glad to see all you gulls have been keeping yourself occupied. I have company coming so I've spent the afternoon "Capturing" all our Persian carpets (at least all the smaller ones). I'll be darned but it really is marvelous stuff. Now on to the dusting and vacuuming! :bang:
